Those of you that have been here awhile know how much
I loathe Brucey. The main reason for my animosity towards the rich, coddled singer is his blatant hypocrisy that surrounds all of his idealolical ramblings like a cloud of of smoky, dank toxin. Last year,
Springsteen criticized the American government for being way off base on the Iraq War.
In the past, he has complained about the rich and powerful of the world, blaming many global problems such as poverty on his political enemies. I'm so happy we have poverty experts here in America. Let me wait outside your penthouse while you release another insightful statement on the state of affairs.
As if Springsteen wasn't on the lowest level possible in DeoDuce's Respect Meter,
he has to go out and support Al Gore's raving-mad, foaming speeches. Oh and read this gem from the Boss himself:
“Personally, for the last 25 years I have always stayed one step away from partisan politics. Instead, I have been partisan about a set of ideals: economic justice, civil rights, a humane foreign policy, freedom and a decent life for all of our citizens,” he wrote. “This year, however, for many of us the stakes have risen too high to sit this election out.” [from here]
Economic justice, eh? Hey, Mr. Springsteen, you have millions and several estates across the globe. I need to finance the rest of my college education. Will you pay for it? Oh and as for your foreign policy stance, I'm sure that sending Osama a fruitcake will erase all of his imbedded hatred for the Great Satan that he has devoted his pathetic life to defeating.
By the way, Bruce, Freedom takes more than a sissy "humane foreign policy."

I know I'm beating a dead horse, but you should have mentioned his anti-American song "Born In The U.S.A.". |

Better than beating a live horse, anyway.
I'm kinda glad that outpoken celebrities tend to be idiots. But then, I like shooting fish in barrels, too. Women like DD give me hope for the next generation. |

But Chris, I could only fit so much of Brucey's royal, stinky BS in one post. |
